How It Works
Perfect for that horror-lover or hard-to-buy-for friend, the Scaremail Gift Box allows the receiver to start the subscription immediately using a redemption code inside.
When the receiver is ready, they just need to enter the code at checkout, and their Scaremail will be free, and we'll send the second letter in *1-3 business days. (Letter 1 is already included, so they can start the story immediately)
Also included is David's Steel Bookmark and the official Scaremail Pen and Letter Opener set in your choice of black or red.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Scaremail Giftbox makes giving Scaremail easy. The box contains a code to redeem the prepaid story, Letter 1 of the story, and a Collectable Pen and Letter Opener set, plus a few more gifts from David. This box allows you to hand deliver Scaremail to the recipient or have it shipped directly to them. When ready, your recipient can activate the code online.
Simply add the story to the cart (be sure to select the letters only), and enter the code into the discount code section. The price will be reduced to 0.00.

After redemption, the recipient falls on a shipment date for the next and subsequent letters. Shipments are the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Redeeming before that Friday will ensure their next letter is sent out with that shipment.
Yes! I do provide some additional content online for each story, but access to the internet is not required to participate in Scaremail.

My general suggestion is 14+ but each child is different. Scaremail contains disturbing themes, imagery and descriptions. There is no abuse of any kind, child, animal or sexual. There is mild swearing. Minor drug and alcohol references.

I just read the first letter. I want to devour next ones as soon as possible! The thing about snail mail, the anticipation, visiting the mail box every day.. Damn! It's been awhile since something has had me this excited!

I received my 1st letter and have read and re-read it over and over. It is very interesting and I cannot wait to recieve more. I think it is well written and I can absolutely see myself being drawn into this story. Great work David.

This was actually a gift for my daughter, but she absolutely LOVES it. She brought so I could check it out, and it's definitely awesome!! She is looking forward to the next one (and all those afterwards as well). My only regret it that I didn't order it for myself! The pen and letter opener are really neat too! Definitely FIVE stars!!! I love these letters. I shared the link a year ago on Facebook and my mother in law saved the link and bought it for me 10 months later for my birthday and it has been amazing getting these letters!
