In all of his books, it's that atmosphere that pervades the normal parts of the story that gets you looking over your shoulder. Here in space, multiply it by at least 10... A great story with plenty of twists & terrors.

Well, this book was fantastic! If you want to experience what utter dread, panic and hopelessness feel like in space then this is the book! I love sci-fi and horror, and when the two genres are combined so well, it is pure joy and such a delight for us readers.
The story is both compelling and easy to follow, so that the reader can focus on the emotions, which are strong and everchanging, depending on the characters' point of view being explored. This is what I loved as well in this book. The chapters focus each on a different character, with both their internal and external dialogues, so that the reader feels like knowing them and relate to them fully. Their fears and paranoias felt so real that I was doubting my thoughts too!
If you want to be properly spooked, disoriented, feel panic, desperation and true horror then you have to read Astrophobia! There are also so many twists, you won't see what's coming at you!
